Let's do work that matters
Join us June 2023

Are you ready to make a difference?

Let's inspire passion for learning and adventure. Let's raise a generation of solution-seekers and problem-solvers. Let's prepare students for a world that's thrilling, risky, complex, and messy. Let's do work that matters.
The future of learning is less like school - and more like real life.
Each June, innovative educators gather to re-imagine school as a hub for real-world learning. They are inspired by leading speakers, engage with peers from across the country, and head out on learning expeditions that offer hands-on experience with new ways to engage students in real-world problem-solving.
Traverse is for educators who are interested in making school more relevant, inspiring, challenging, and imaginative. It's three days of hands-on, real-world experiences - design thinking, diversity and inclusion, global education, entrepreneurship, field science, character education, engineering, service learning, and more.
Traverse is hosted by Watershed School in collaboration with cutting-edge national partners
dedicated to re-imagining the future of learning.

"Mind-blowing, life-altering, energizing."
"Fantastic. Practical in a way most other conferences aren't."
"The Traverse Conference was the single best conference ever."
